Only deserving students with residence and citizenship of the African Union or African common wealth member state should apply for this scholarship. The Mauritius Africa Scholarship is currently open for applying under which students can complete their undergraduate, master’s or PhD degree program in Mauritius for the next academic year of 2025-26 and the scholarship will also include tuition fees, living and other expenses.

Eligibility;
- Undergraduate Programs: Applicants must be over 18 and under 26 years of age by January 1, 2026.
- Graduate Programs (MPhil, MPhil/PhD, PhD): Applicants should be under 40 years of age by January 1, 2026.
- University Admission: Applicants must already have applied for a full-time, on-campus program (Diploma, Degree, MPhil, or PhD) at a public Higher
- Education Institution in Mauritius for the 2025-2026 academic year (as listed in Section 8 of the Guidelines for Applicants).

Method of Application;
Download and Review the Guide: Start by downloading the guide for applicants, which provides important details on the scholarship conditions, application steps, and a list of eligible institutions in Mauritius. Fill Out the Application Form: Complete the application form electronically before printing it. Note that only this specific form is accepted for scholarship applications. Submit Through Nominating Agency: Submit your application through the nominating agency in your home country (usually part of the Ministry of Education).
The agency will:
- Endorse Section 5 of your application form.
- Shortlist and endorse up to 15 candidates.
- Send the shortlisted applications to Mauritius.
