Application is open for the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) Grant 2025, a golden opportunity for African entrepreneurs to access funding, mentorship, and resources to transform their businesses. This initiative seeks to empower African women and men with $5,000 each, fueling economic growth, eradicating poverty, and creating jobs across the continent.
The TEF Grant offers several tailored programs to suit the diverse needs of African entrepreneurs. The TEF Flagship Entrepreneurship Programme is open to all entrepreneurs across Africa, whether they have business ideas or established ventures, provided they are at least 18 years old. For women entrepreneurs in Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda, Cameroon, Kenya, Mozambique, Malawi, and Togo with green business ideas, the IYBA-WE4A Entrepreneurship Programme is available. Rwandan entrepreneurs aged 18–30 with idea-stage businesses can benefit from the Aguka Ideation Programme, while the BeGreen Africa Programme supports entrepreneurs with green businesses in Nigeria, Senegal, and South Africa, and waste management businesses in Kenya, for applicants aged 18–35.
