ECOWAS Immersion Program 2024 for Young Africans
The launch of the ECOWAS Immersion Internship Program 2024, aimed at providing young graduates with the opportunity to gain professional experience within ECOWAS institutions, is joyfully announced by the Economic Community of West African States.
The objective of the program is to enhance the professional integration of recent graduates. It does so by providing them with the chance to gain a deeper understanding of ECOWAS programs, while also enabling interns to actively contribute to the effective implementation of these programs.

Eligibility for the ECOWAS Immersion Program 2024 for Young Africans:
- Applicants must be young graduates from the ECOWAS Member States.
- Applicants must be aged 32 years or less.
- Applicants must hold a Certificate, a Bachelor’s (BSc), Master, or PhD or equivalent certificate.
- Applicants must be available full-time throughout the duration of the program.

Prospective participants in the ECOWAS Immersion Program should thoroughly review the terms of reference and the comprehensive list of available positions to determine the roles they wish to apply for. Once these documents have been carefully reviewed, applicants can proceed to submit their online applications before the designated application deadline.
Required Documents:
- A request to the ECOWAS Commissioner in charge of Human Development and Social Affairs which describes the motivation of the candidate with an expression of his centers of interest, the choice of the profile requested, the desired location of the immersion, as well as the candidate’s commitment to respect the terms and conditions of the program.

- A copy of a national identity card or passport (ID) (pdf or jpeg)
- A copy of the academic certificates or its equivalent (pdf).
