OHCHR Indigenous Fellowship Programme 2024
Qualified individuals are welcome to apply for the OHCHR Indigenous Fellowship Programme 2024, which aims to provide Indigenous individuals with the chance to acquire insights into the workings of the United Nations system.
Participants who have undergone training are more proficient in aiding their organizations and communities in safeguarding and advocating for their rights. This training program is accessible in five languages, and fellows are collectively trained, enabling them to engage actively in the process.
The objective of the program is to offer Indigenous Peoples the chance to gain insights into the operations of UN institutions and mechanisms addressing human rights in a broad sense, with a special focus on Indigenous Peoples’ matters. Those who successfully conclude the internship will enhance their capacity to aid their organizations and communities in upholding and advancing their rights. The four-week fellowship, scheduled for the summer of 2024, will be conducted in five languages: English, Spanish, French, Russian, and Portuguese.
