The London School Of Economics & Political Science JournalismAI Fellowship 2023 is a free online initiative that brings media organizations and their journalists and technologists together to discover cutting-edge solutions to enhance journalism using AI technologies.
The JournalismAI Fellowship Programme allows participants to take the lead in organizing and executing their projects within the six-month duration while receiving guidance and support from the JournalismAI team and having regular meetings with the other fellows. Each team will have a mentor supplied by JournalismAI and will also be connected to the global network of AI-journalism experts, researchers, and innovators to whom JournalismAI has access.
During the next six months, the teams will be led through the stages of defining, generating ideas, creating prototypes, and assessing their performance. The aim is to collaborate on the development of AI-enhanced tools to improve reporting and storytelling. The Fellowship is structured so that fellows maintain their current employment while devoting 8 hours per week to the program. Resources such as financial assistance for necessary project expenses, as well as guidance and support from professionals in the JournalismAI industry, will be provided to teams.

Eligibility for the London School Of Economics & Political Science JournalismAI Fellowship 2023:
- Applications are invited from candidates working in news organizations anywhere in the world.
- Applicants need to have some experience working on products and/or stories that involve the use of AI technologies.
Selection Criteria for the London School Of Economics & Political Science JournalismAI Fellowship 2023:
A group of up to 30 journalists and technologists will be chosen to form the 2023 Fellowship cohort. These individuals will spend six months collaborating to create AI-powered tools to improve journalism from June to December.
