The Management Scholar Academy (MSA) at Lagos Business School (LBS) is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications from candidates with a focus on academia for its research mentoring internship and paid employment program 2023.
The Management Scholar Academy (MSA) is a structured program that spans two years, providing paid employment and research mentoring to young, talented individuals with a focus on academia. The program is designed to engage participants as research assistants, working under the guidance of designated faculty members. The faculty members also train, mentor and support the research assistants to gain admission into fully-funded Ph.D. programs overseas.
The aim of the internship program is to establish a pipeline for producing high-quality Ph.D. holders who have an interest in potentially joining LBS in the future, either as full-time faculty, adjunct faculty, or resource persons.
Research assistants shall assist designated faculty with the:
- Producing conceptual literature that meets the standards of top international academic and professional journals, and is suitable for publication in such journals.
- Developing conceptual models using positivistic or phenomenological approaches, which are suitable for publication in high-quality international journals.
- Identifying and evaluating theories or epistemologies, and presenting a justification for using specific theories or epistemologies.

- Applicants must participate in LBS Young Talents Programme.
