Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program 2023
The Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program 2023 are offered to full-time high school teachers of English language as a Foreign Language and other subjects are invited to submit an application for a six weeks professional learning program featuring academic seminars at a host university and co-teaching program for the 2023/2024 academic year.
The Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program allows international educators to come to the U.S. for a six–week educational experience. This includes academic seminars at a host university, as well as team–teaching placements at various public, private, or charter schools. Participants are also able to observe classrooms, share their knowledge with teachers and students, and take part in civic and cultural activities within the host community.

Eligibility for the Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program 2023:
- Applicants must be current secondary-level full-time teachers of English, English as a Foreign Language (EFL), math, science, foreign language, or social studies including special education teachers in those subjects, at institutions serving primarily a local population.
- Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Applicants must have a minimum of three years of full-time teaching experience by the start of the program, with a preference for those who have completed at least five years of full-time teaching.
- Applicants must demonstrate oral and written English language proficiency.
- Applicants must be citizens and residents of an eligible country.
- Applicants must meet other requirements as indicated in the application.
