Fully Funded Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2023
Suitably qualified applicants are invited for the Fully Funded Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2023. Annually, Rotary grants fully funded fellowships to international, committed leaders so they can attend one of the peace centers to study. Through intensive courses and activities, the Rotary Peace Centers program provides training, practice, and networking opportunities for those in the peace and development sector. This program covers costs such as tuition, living expenses, travel, and internship fees for its fellows.
The Rotary Peace Fellowship provides an opportunity for individuals who have a background in peace and development to further their education and commitment to service. Each year, up to 50 fellowships for master‘s degrees and 40 for certificate studies are awarded by the Rotary Foundation to those dedicated to community and international service and the pursuit of peace.

Eligibility for the Fully Funded Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2023:
- Applicants must have three years of related work experience in the master’s program.
- Applicants must have five years of related work experience for the certificate program at Makerere University and be able to explain how their plan to promote peace aligns with Rotary’s mission.
- Applicants must be proficient in English with proof of English language standardized test scores.
- Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (Master’s candidates must provide a copy of their transcripts.)
- Applicants must demonstrate leadership skills.
- Applicants must have a strong commitment to cross-cultural understanding and peace.
- Applicants must have at least three years between the completion of their most recent academic degree program and their intended start date for the fellowship.
Programs for the Fully Funded Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2023:
- Master’s degree program: Those accepted to the program work on peace and development topics with teaching that is based on research and a student body that is diverse. The program lasts from 15 to 24 months, during which participants create a two– to three–month field study.
- Professional development certificate program: The one–year blended learning program provides experienced peace and development professionals with the opportunity to learn practical skills to promote peace in their communities and the world. With the guidance of mentors, Fellows work on field studies, design and execute a social change project, and receive a post–graduate diploma upon completion of the program. This program is designed specifically for working professionals.
