Westerwelle Young Founders Programme 2023 for Young Entrepreneurs
Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications for the Westerwelle Young Founders Programme 2023 for Young Entrepreneurs, a 6-month fellowship designed to support and develop young entrepreneurs from emerging markets. The fellowship programme brings together a global network of leaders who are passionate and determined to realize their entrepreneurial ambitions. 50 young entrepreneurs from developing countries will be provided mentorship to assist them in achieving their objectives.
The Westerwelle Foundation‘s Young Founders Programme seeks to give middle–class individuals a chance to succeed by facing uncertainty and capitalizing on new opportunities. The goal of the programme is to use entrepreneurship to boost emerging markets. The 5–day conference in Berlin and 6–month remote schedule offer mentorship, peer learning, expert sessions, and a Buddy Programme.

Eligibility for the Westerwelle Young Founders Programme 2023 for Young Entrepreneurs:
- Applicants must be involved in a business venture originating from South America, Africa, or Asia.
- Applicants must have initiated a for–profit business within the last five years that is dedicated to developing or emerging markets.
- The business of the applicants must be able to grow and be successful and should have already earned some money or received an initial investment.
- Applicants must have businesses that possess disruptive qualities that can improve the industry‘s quality, influence, or level of inclusion.
- Applicants need to have a strong command of the English language.
- Applicants must commit to the entire length of the fellowship.
- Applicants must show enthusiasm and eagerness to succeed in their chosen entrepreneurial journey.
