Megatrends Afrika Fellowships 2023 for African Researchers

The Megatrends Afrika Fellowships 2023 for African Researchers is a three days program for African researchers within the framework of its three core research themes which are actors of violence and the changing nature of conflict, the effects of megatrends on democratization and autocratisation, and global power shifts and multipolarity.

The Megatrends Afrika project is offering three fellowship opportunities to African researchers to explore its three core research themes: actors of violence and the changing nature of conflict, the effects of megatrends on democratization and autocratisation, and global power shifts and multipolarity. These fellowships will run for up to three months between 15 May and 30 November 2023, with a full-time commitment at one of the institutes in Berlin, Bonn, or Kiel. Successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out their own research project, and potentially collaborating with project team members and colleagues, as well as producing at least one publication for the project’s series.
