This opportunity seeks to create a pipeline to develop the leaders in global health for the next phase and to add value to the aforesaid health systems in the continent.

These scholarships are highly competitive, offering financial support to students enrolling in a one-year, full-time master’s program at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).

Eligibility;

Must be nationals of and residents of sub-Saharan African countries.
Plan to return to sub-Saharan Africa after completing their MSc at LSHTM.
Confirm the financial need for the scholarship through the online application portal.
Meet LSHTM’s minimum English language requirements.
Hold a first degree with first-class or upper second-class equivalency.
Have an offer of admission for a 2025-26 London-based intensive MSc program at LSHTM.
Preference is given to applicants showing potential for significant contributions to public health or health-related research in Africa.

Scholarship Benefits:

Full tuition fees, including any mandatory field trip costs.
A tax-free living allowance of £22,000.

Method of Application;

Apply for a London-based MSc program for the 2025-26 academic year.
Follow the instructions provided under the “How to Apply” section on the program’s webpage.
After submitting your application, you will receive a temporary password.
Use this to log in for the first time via the e-vision system and update your password.
After applying to the MSc program, the Scholarships Team will send you an automated email.
This email will include a link to the scholarship application portal.
Search for “GSK Scholarships for Future Health Leaders” in the portal.
Answer all the required questions and review your responses carefully.
Once satisfied, submit your application.
After submission, you’ll get a confirmation email that your application was received.
