The United Nations Graduate Study Programme 2023 in Switzerland is inviting outstanding students from all over the world who are interested in taking part in the 61st annual program to send in their application for the international study program that gives successful applicants an opportunity to participate in a two weeks long summer seminar which helps participants to deepen their understanding of the United Nations.

The United Nations Graduate Study Programme is organized and sponsored by the United Nations to offer students from all over the world a graduate program at UN Geneva which seem to be the longest-running educational program of the United Nations that has brought together and trained several thousand young people from over 100 countries. The 61st Graduate Study Programme which will be held in Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland consists of lectures given by representatives of the United Nations, other international organizations, and NGOs, visits to institutions, and working on group projects. This two weeks summer seminar is an opportunity of a lifetime for every student who wants to deepen their understanding of the United Nations and International Geneva through first-hand observations, lectures, research, and visits to Geneva-based institutions can’t afford to miss.

The United Nations is an intergovernmental organization whose stated purposes are to maintain international peace and security, develop friendly relations among nations, achieve international cooperation, and be a center for harmonizing the actions of nations. Eligibility for the United Nations Graduate Study Programme 2023 in Switzerland:

  • Applicants must be fluent in spoken and written English and French language as some discussions may be held in French.
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 22 to 32 years of age at the time of application.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in a master’s degree, a postgraduate degree, or a doctorate degree program at the time of application and provide proof of enrolment.
  • Applicants must not be employed full-time.
  • Applicants must not have previously participated in editions of the Graduate Study Programme.

  • A letter of recommendation in English or in French from a university or a governmental authority
