The French-African Foundation Young Leaders Program 2023

The French-African Foundation Young Leaders Program 2023 is offered yearly by the French-African Foundation to select a collective of Young Leaders for Franco-African relations through a public call for applications and a selection process led by a jury. The chosen candidates attend fully funded two-week seminars, which alternate between France and an African country and play a vital role in these relations.

The French-African Foundation is seeking 30 enthusiastic and gifted Franco-African youths to join the most recent cohort of its Young Leaders program. This year’s program will focus on “unleashing energies”, a hopeful and forward-thinking theme supporting the ongoing Franco-African dialogue across all disciplines. In June 2023, the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, and the President of the Republic of Rwanda Paul Kagame will be providing high patronage for the Foundation, which will bring together a new class for a week in France. Later in the fall of the same year, the class will be in Rwanda for meetings, training, and special moments of professional and personal exchanges with prominent Franco-African and international people from politics, economics, culture, sports, and charitable organizations.

The French-African Foundation (FFA) is a non-profit organization that works to promote French-African cooperation and facilitate dialogue between the two countries. FFA works on a range of issues, including economic development, education, and health. It also encourages the exchange of ideas and knowledge between the two countries and provides support for French-African initiatives. The Foundation’s activities are divided into four main areas: the African Diaspora, the Francophone space, Francophone Africa, and the African continent. It has a network of over 500 members, including individuals and organizations from both France and Africa.
