It’s the perfect time of the year once again as Luiss University announces on their official website about a new ongoing Masters In Economics Scholarship for the 2022/2023 academic session for international students willing to study or further their second degree in Rome, Italy.
The scholarship is limited to certain number of applicants as the aim is to get the best among students, so it’s advisable for candidates to have a good academic excellence during the spell of their Bachelors degree. The scholarship program will run for 2 years with exclusively English learning environment for students who wishes to advanced their economic research.
On this one, The Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance (EIEF) and Luiss decides to join efforts into creating avenue for students to further academic in Rome ad part of the Luiss Master’s Degree Program in Economics and Finance – Major in Economics. Each successful student will be awarded with the Luiss Master’s Degree in Economics and Finance with a Major in Economics upon completion of the programme, as well as a RoME certificate from EIEF and Luiss certifying compliance with the program’s standards. RoME provides students with a viable alternative to Europe’s leading Master’s programs.

The school will offer about 15 fully funded programmes for international students worth about €12,300 and exclusion of regional student welfare tax for the 2022/2023 academic year. And the EIEF is also offer up to eight tuition fee funded scholarships valued at €10,000 (gross) each for the 2021/2022 academic year.
The entire sum equivalent to 15 full-tuition fee exemptions might be distributed to more than 15 students, resulting in a partial tuition fee waiver

Requirements for the RoME Masters in economics Scholarships 2022
Only students who have acquired their bachelor’s degree in one of the following degree programmes of study (inside brackets, the Italian system official nomenclature; for foreign students, the normal equivalency standards apply) are eligible to apply.
Economics and Business Management (L-18 – Ministerial Decree 270/04 and L-17 – Ministerial Decree 509/99);
Economics (L-33 -Ministerial Decree 270/04- and 28 -Ministerial Decree 509/99-). Students from various degree classes must have a total of at least 48 university educational credits (acquired or to be gained) in at least two of the following subjects in their curriculum:
- Economics
- Business Economics
- Finance
- Law
- Engineering
- Mathematics
- Statistics
Steps in Applying for the RoME Masters in economics Scholarships
The online application form must be submitted by the deadline to be considered for the program. The following papers must be included with your application
- a CV
- a current transcript indicating the average grade in previous tests and acquired credits (required)
- Certification of GRE/GMAT (not required, but highly encouraged); certification of English language skills (not mandatory but strongly recommended)
