The Joint Japan World Bank Group Scholarship Program 2023 is offered to suitably qualified students from developing countries with little or no access to higher education to perfect their academic master’s degree pursuit with this fully funded scholarship for the 2023/2024 academic session.
Applications are now being accepted for the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) which is open to outstanding individuals from developing countries with prior professional experience and a record of aiding their countries’ development endeavors who are looking to pursue a Master’s degree in a development-related field. The Master’s scholarship covers the full cost of studying a master’s program for the entire duration of studies.

Eligibility for the Joint Japan World Bank Group Scholarship Program 2023:
- Applicants must be a national of a World Bank member developing country.
- Applicants must not hold dual citizenship in any developed country.
- Applicants must be in good health.
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree earned at least 3 years before the Application Deadline date.
- Applicants must have 3 years or more of recent development-related work experience after earning a Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree.
- Applicants must be employed in development-related work in a paid full-time position at the time of submitting the scholarship application.
