The scholarships are open to applicants from Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America who desire to pursue their undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme in Germany.
Every year about 40 applicants are offered FES sponsorship. International students get a monthly amount of 861 EUR and value for health insurance are financed. Applicants with a child get a family allocation of about 276 EUR. Applicants in any course area are qualified to apply, if they show outstanding school or academic excellence.
