Suitably qualified artists, refugees, and migrants who are currently residing in African or European countries are invited to apply for the Emerging Leaders Artivism Alliance Programme 2024 for opportunities to increase the visibility of their work and networks with potential partners.
The Emerging Leaders Artivism Alliance Programme is run by PLACE Network in partnership with the Community Arts Network, and supported by a coalition of partners supporting the arts and social change. This program is for artists and refugees in Africa or Europe who are looking to increase the visibility of their work
The Emerging Leaders Artivism Alliance is a pioneering program that positions refugees and migrants who are combining arts and activism to utilize their resilient life experiences as the potential for leadership, igniting action, and driving meaningful societal change
Place Network needs new narratives that showcase the connection between migration, human potential, and creating the future we all need.

Eligibility for the Emerging Leaders Artivism Alliance Programme 2024:
- Artists or individuals who are actively engaged in creating change through artistic practice
- Applicants must have experience of forced displacement or lived experience of migration
- Applicants must be currently residing in an African or European country
- Applicants looking to strengthen their leadership capabilities
- Applicants must be eager to connect and collaborate with an alliance of emerging activists
- Applicants who can commit to an average of 6 hours per month from November 2024 to May 2025
- Applicants who can engage and communicate about their work in English (A2-B1 level minimum) & participate online (Zoom).
