The Royal Holloway University of London is now offering the Dr Pirkko Koppinen Scholarship 2023 in UK to students of any nationality in the pursuit of eligible master’s course(s) at the university for the 2023/2024 academic year. Those interested in applying may do so to study in the United Kingdom.

This Master’s scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction of £12,000, as well as a possible contribution to living costs, for any new full-time student with Home or International fee status who is applying for a master’s degree in Medieval Studies.

Eligibility for the Dr Pirkko Koppinen Scholarship 2023 in UK:

Applicants must submit their applications through RH Direct to be considered for the Dr Pirkko Koppinen Scholarship, with the results of their applications being announced on 26 July 2023.

Your statement must be no longer than 500 words. Any statement exceeding the word count will be rejected. Your statement should include:

  • Academic achievements you are particularly proud of
  • Why have you chosen to do the degree you have applied for
  • How do you plan to use this MA in your future research and career path and how will the scholarship help you achieve it?

Your response will be evaluated based on how well and convincingly you answer the question. In addition to your statement, you must upload your transcript of grades from your undergraduate degree. Submissions that do not include a transcript will not be considered.

You are required to submit a written academic reference letter (up to 200 words) from an individual who has previously taught, worked with, or supported you. The reference letter must be sent directly to humanities-school@rhul.ac.uk from the academic on an official headed paper.
