DeepMind Scholarship 2024 at University of Birmingham
Eligible applicants from developing countries who are currently holding either a conditional offer or unconditional offer of admission to study a master’s degree program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are invited by the School of Computer Science, the University of Birmingham to apply for the fully funded DeepMind Scholarship 2024 for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The DeepMind Scholarship, sponsored by the University of Birmingham together with DeepMind aims to increase accessibility to and enhance the diversity of underrepresented groups in computer science. There are 3 fully funded Master’s scholarships available to students from developing countries who are interested in studying a degree program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Eligibility for the DeepMind Scholarship 2024 at University of Birmingham:
- Applicants must identify as female or identify as Black African, Black Caribbean, or other Black Ethnicity.
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they would not be able to take up the offer of admission without financial assistance.
- Applicants must have already received a conditional/unconditional offer to study the MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the University of Birmingham.
- Applicants must be ordinarily resident in the UK and would be classified as UK for fee-paying purposes.
Scholarship Benefits:
- UK tuition fees – £11,340 or
- International tuition fees – £31,410
- A maintenance grant of £19,345 (to use for living costs), paid in installments throughout the course
- Funding of up to £2,200 to attend an international conference in the field of AI and/or Machine Learning during the course as well
- £1,700 towards the purchase of essential equipment (suitable laptop etc.).
- £1,870 to assist with relocation expenses
