CICOPS Scholarships 2025 at University of Pavia

Suitably qualified academics and other researchers from Developing Countries who are looking to carry out their PhD research work together with a professor at the University of Pavia in Italy are invited to apply for the CICOPS Scholarships 2025 jointly funded by the university and EDiSU (Institute of the Right to University Studies) which enables researchers to stay 4 to 12 weeks at the University.

The CICOPS scholarships aim to fund research collaboration between PhD students and professors at Paviaa in a short period to encourage researchers’ mobility from Developing Countries according to the World Bank Classification. Kindly be aware that applicants enrolled in a Doctoral or Postgraduate Course at an Italian University are not eligible to apply for this fully funded PhD scholarship.

The World Bank Classification Income, the University of Pavia, and EDiSU (Institute of the Right to University Studies) every year provide 5 scholarships to visiting scholars for a period of stay of 4 to 12 weeks at the University to promote international cooperation, particularly with Developing Countries.

Eligibility for the CICOPS Scholarships 2025 at University of Pavia:

Applicants must have at least two years of either teaching experience or activity within international organizations and institutions.
Scholarships are designed for both junior and senior members of Universities in Developing Countries or members of major research centers and international organizations or institutions with a specific interest in the field of development studies.
The scholarships are reserved for research collaboration in the short term to encourage researchers’ mobility from developing countries.
Applicants enrolled in a Doctoral or Postgraduate Course at an Italian University are not eligible to apply.
