These Master’s scholarships and Ph.D. scholarships are designed to provide financial support to students engaged in such research. Under the original award period, which is six semesters for Master’s level studies, the scholarship will cover the cost of their education, up to a total of $100,000. The scholarship will be paid out in installments of $16,667 per tri-semester period or $50,000 per year. Those who receive the Arrell Food Institute Scholarships will be referred to as the Arrell Scholars.
