The United Nations Academic Impact/MCN Millennium Fellowship 2023, a semester-long leadership development program on your campus presented by the United Nations Academic Impact and MCN, is your chance to take your social impact to the next level. The Millennium Fellowship 2023 is an opportunity to develop your leadership skills over the course of a semester. With support from the United Nations Academic Impact and MCN, cohorts of 8-20 Millennium Fellows will be selected to participate in this program, which will take place on campuses around the world from August to November. By December 2023, all fellows will have submitted feedback and stories of their impact.

Eligibility for the United Nations Academic Impact/MCN Millennium Fellowship 2023:

Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Applicants must be an undergraduate enrolled in a college or university, and in good standing at that academic institution for the duration of the program.
Applicants must make a commitment to convene in person at least eight times during the Millennium Fellowship (for 2023 the program will run August 2023 – December 2023) with your Campus Directors and other Fellows on your campus to share best practices and take collective action.
Applicants must have to meet on-campus, in person for the Fellowship sessions. If you miss sessions, this is grounds for expulsion and the forfeiture of your designation as a Millennium Fellow.

Convene for the United Nations Academic Impact/MCN Millennium Fellowship 2023:

Gather in a cohort of 8-20+ Millennium Fellows on your campus, and come together to exchange ideas and support each other on your journeys. Meet at least 8 times during the program to learn and be challenged.

The challenge for the United Nations Academic Impact/MCN Millennium Fellowship 2023:

Create a strategy for your meetings together. Discuss effective techniques and tactics. Additionally, consider larger projects, such as launching a campus-wide sustainability program.

Celebrate the United Nations Academic Impact/MCN Millennium Fellowship 2023:

Once you and your Fellowship Campus have achieved the goals you have set and fulfilled the requirements of the Fellowship program, you will be rewarded with a certificate of recognition from the United Nations Academic Impact and Millennium Campus Network.

How the Program Works:
