UNIL Summer Research Scholarship 2025 for Undergraduates to study in Switzerland
Highly academic performance students with a passion for biological sciences are invited to apply for the UNIL Summer Research Scholarship 2025. This program provides an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students to work in research within the University of Lausanne, Switzerland with modern equipment. The admission is eligible to students in biology, medicine faculties, and students within related fields studying in the third year of their Undergraduate degree program after the second year. During the 8-week program (July 7th to August 28th, 2025), participants will work on individual research projects in various laboratories at the Faculty of Biology and Medicine, gaining invaluable exposure to real-world research.
It is available to learners pursuing biology, medicine, or other related programs with an emphasis on the biological sciences area. Eligible applicants must have completed at least two years of their bachelor’s degree and be entering their third year at the time of the program. While prior research experience is not required, the selection process is highly competitive, focusing on academic excellence (with a GPA above 3.75 or ranking in the top 5% of their class), compelling personal statements, and strong letters of recommendation. Applicants must demonstrate excellent written and spoken English skills and commit to participating for the full program duration. Note that fields like physical therapy, nursing, dentistry, or veterinary science are not eligible.
