The Allan Gray Makers StartUp Academy- incubation program 2023 application submission is currently ongoing from suitably qualified aspiring artisan entrepreneurs such as Plumbers or Electrical Traders to be a part of a free 8 months incubation program that offers business training and support to start their businesses.

The StartUp Academy, funded by Allan Gray Makers, provides an 8 months incubation program for budding entrepreneurs in the Plumbing and Electrical trades. The program is free of charge, with all costs including a basic living allowance, being covered. Participants are expected to invest their time and energy for the duration of the program, which will commence on 15 May 2023 and will be full-time and in-person.

Eligibility for The Allan Gray Makers StartUp Academy- incubation program 2023:

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 to 35 years of age.
Applicants must be a South African citizens or hold a permanent residence status.
Applicants must have completed a relevant learning program in the Plumbing or Electrical Trades.
Applicants must qualify to take a trade test.
Applicants must be available at the location in Johannesburg.
Applicants must have a keen interest in Plumbing & Electrical.
Applicants must have the desire to start their own businesses.
