This Research Training Program Scholarship 2024 is provided by the Australian Commonwealth Government together with the University of Melbourne to offer high-achieving domestic and international research students a fully funded Master’s scholarship or PhD scholarship for stipend as well as fee offset for their research work.

The Research Training Program Scholarship is a Full fee offset for up to two years for students undertaking a Masters by Research degree or about four years for students undertaking a doctoral degree for 100% fee remission and up to $135,000 at the University of Melbourne.

Method of Application for the Research Training Program Scholarship 2024 at University of Melbourne:

Applicants who have applied for admission to a graduate research course by the application deadline for that course do not need to apply for this scholarship. Within seven days of having submitted your course application, you will receive confirmation that you will be automatically considered for a range of graduate research scholarships.

Successful applicants who have already received an offer for a graduate research course and deferred commencement of their course to the following year, or who are currently enrolled in a graduate research course for which they seek a scholarship, will need to submit an online application form.
