Mastercard Foundation Fund 2024 for Resilience and Prosperity Program
The Mastercard Foundation Fund for Resilience and Prosperity Program is currently accepting applications. Building upon the achievements and knowledge acquired from the Mastercard Foundation Fund for Rural Prosperity, a new initiative has been launched under the name Fund for Resilience and Prosperity Program.
The Mastercard Foundation Fund for Resilience and Prosperity is a seven-year initiative, amounting to US$ 126 million, designed to assist Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) operating within the agriculture, climate adaptation, and digital economy sectors across 20 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Eligibility for the Mastercard Foundation Fund 2024 for Resilience and Prosperity Program:
- Applicants must come from countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Applicants must be young women and men, young people with disabilities, and refugee youth.
- The Fund will focus on SMEs that are implementing their solutions in 3 key sectors; agriculture, climate adaptation, and digital economy.
- Each of these will have competitions that SMEs can apply to for a chance to be selected as Fund participants.
The primary aim of the Fund is to stimulate enterprise expansion and foster the initiation, amplification, and enduring establishment of meaningful and dignified employment opportunities for young women and men, individuals with disabilities, and youth refugees.
