The Office of the Youth Envoy and Google Africa enthusiastically invite you to join the Google Africa/African Youth Envoy Digital Skills Campaign 2023 which will take place on May 12th in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
Youth Envoy and Google Africa have partnered to create a suite of digital tools and resources to support young Africans in their academics and careers. The partnership was announced at the 2019 African Leaders Summit. Through the collaboration, Google and the UN Youth Envoy are creating resources to help young people develop digital skills, access job opportunities, and foster collaboration across the continent. The suite of resources includes an online platform and Digital Skills Campaign that provides access to job opportunities and training resources, as well as an online skills assessment tool and an online learning platform. Google is also providing support to the UN Youth Envoy’s Global Entrepreneurship Program and its Africa-focused initiatives. Google’s support will help young people to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become successful entrepreneurs and to access and create job opportunities.

Eligibility for the Google Africa/African Youth Envoy Digital Skills Campaign 2023 for youth-led SMEs:
In order to take part in the Digital Skills Campaign in Antananarivo on May 12th, individuals must satisfy the set requirements below.
- Applicants must have an existing small business or intent to start a business soon.
- Applicants must be based in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
- Applicants must be present at the venue on May 12, 2023.
Applicants must meet the criteria listed above to be eligible to attend this inaugural workshop. Upon submission of your interest, those who are chosen will receive an official invitation letter with additional details via email.
