Who can apply for the Fully Funded DAAD Short-Term Research Grants 2023:

Doctoral applicants who have already completed their Ph.D., young academics, and scientists who have completed a Master‘s degree, Diploma, or in some cases a Bachelor‘s degree by the time they start their grantsupported research are eligible to apply.

What can be funded for the Fully Funded DAAD Short-Term Research Grants 2023:

A research project or course of advanced scientific study at a German university, university of applied sciences, or nonuniversity research institute, which is conducted with the guidance of a faculty member in Germany.

Duration of the Fully Funded DAAD Short-Term Research Grants 2023:

  • The selection committee will determine the length of the grant, which may range from one month up to a maximum of six months, based on the project and the applicant‘s work schedule.
  • The grant does not renew automatically.
