DAAD Leadership for Africa Scholarship 2024 in Germany
Suitably qualified bachelor’s degree holders who are national or refugees in Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, or Mauritaniafrom or who are from any of the West or Central African countries looking to study a master’s program abroad are invited to apply for the DAAD Leadership for Africa Scholarship 2024 in Germany for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The fully funded DAAD Leadership for Africa Scholarship 2024 funded by DAAD aims to support African students to study suitable Master’s degree programmes at any higher institution in Germany. Interested and eligible applicants are invited to apply for this Master’s scholarship.

Eligibility for the DAAD Leadership for Africa Scholarship 2024 in Germany:
- Applicants must be highly qualified refugees who hold refugee status and fulfill the necessary qualifications for Master studies in Germany and the requirements in the call for applications.
- Applicants who hold refugee status in their host countries are granted before the 3rd of April 2024.
- Applicants from the country of asylum must be either Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast or Mauritania.
- Applicants must have completed their Bachelor’s degree.
- Applicants who reside in Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast or Mauritania.
Scholarship Benefits:
- Language course (up to 6 months) in Germany before the start of the university studies
- Tuition-free M.A. or M.Sc. degree program at a public or state-recognized university in Germany starting in winter term 2025 (September/October 2025).
- Monthly scholarship rate payments
- Adequate health, accident, and private/personal liability insurance in Germany.
