The Therle Drake Scholarship 2023 at Victoria University of Wellington is offered to eligible and passionate students from all across the globe who are interested in studying a postgraduate degree program in New Zealand for the 2023/2024 academic session. The funding opportunity worth $15,000 will be given out every year and applications should be submitted by either November 15 or March 15 of the following year or the year in which the project is planned. All types of instrumentalists may apply, although a piano student may be given priority.
In 2013, the University of Wellington Foundation established the Therle Drake Postgraduate Scholarship in honor of John Drake’s late wife, Therle, through a bequest. The Postgraduate scholarship worth up to $15,000 will be granted on the condition that the recipient is enrolled in a full-year program which must meet the minimum number of points as defined by Studylink as full-time and meets the criteria and duration of the Scholarship.

Eligibility for the Therle Drake Scholarship 2023 at Victoria University of Wellington:
- Applicants must be New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, and international students.
- Applicants must be fully enrolled in full-time study at the University.
- Applicants must be enrolled or have enrolled for postgraduate study at Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music at Te Herenga Waka at the university.
