SIPGA offers tremendous chances to those who decide to continue their education after finishing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM disciplines and want to gain practical experience in research activity. With this award, you can enroll for a two to six-month industrial attachment with any of the reputable Research Institutes under A*STAR.

Across four main themes Biomedical Sciences (BMS), Physical Sciences (PS), Computing and Information Sciences (CIT), and Engineering and Technology (E & T), students will be studying state-of-the-art technology and work side by side with leading experts. If you already have prior professional experience in Public Health, SIPGA welcomes you to take up projects across disciplines that diversify your know-how.

Eligibility for the Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA) 2025

Open to international 3rd and 4th-year undergraduate and master’s students from overseas universities in STEM fields.
Must have obtained or be on track to obtain at least a Second-Class (Upper) Honours or equivalent for a bachelor’s degree.
Students must remain enrolled in their home university during the attachment period.
Proficient in both written and spoken English.
Must demonstrate a strong interest in a research career.
