MUTA Scholarship Program 2024 for Full-time Studies
MUTA Education is pleased to invite applications for the MUTA Education Scholarship Program 2024. These scholarships, awarded on a merit basis, are designed for full-time undergraduate students pursuing studies in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), medicine, and allied medical programs.
The Committee anticipates awarding a maximum of 16 Undergraduate scholarships for the academic year 2024/2025. Each recipient will receive an amount of N50,000.00, which will be directly transferred to their account. This fund can be utilized for tuition, fees, research, or any other expenses directly associated with undergraduate studies in Nigeria.

Eligibility for the MUTA Scholarship Program 2024 for Full-time Studies:
- Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), medicine, or any allied medical field.
- Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale (equivalent to a second-class upper degree) or 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Note: Applicants who do not meet the specified CGPA requirement will not be considered, regardless of whether they have the highest CGPA in their respective local government.
Method of Application for the MUTA Scholarship Program 2024 for Full-time Studies:
To participate in the MUTA Scholarship Program, kindly complete the provided online form. Make sure to securely upload all necessary supporting documents through the online portal. This simplified and user-friendly process facilitates a smooth submission, ensuring that your application is comprehensive and ready for evaluation.
Alongside the application form, candidates are required to submit a 2-page, double-spaced personal statement elucidating the reasons they merit this award. Justification may encompass academic history, achievements, community service, career objectives, and financial requirements.
The Committee also requires the following items:
- A declaration that the candidate does not and shall not belong to or participate in any cult or related organizations activities on or off campus.
- Certificate of State or Local Government origin.
- A signed letter from the institution’s Academic Officer or the appropriate Head of Department certifying the candidate’s CGPA. Download the form in the download section (immediately below the application form).
