
Suitably qualified applicants are welcome to apply for the Mastercard Foundation AfOx Graduate Scholarships 2027 for Africans. This offers eligible African nationals the financial support to pursue an MBA at the University of Oxford for the 2027/2028 academic session.
The Mastercard Foundation AfOx Graduate Scholarships offers applicants who are African nationals, ordinarily resident in African countries, who can demonstrate a commitment to Africa’s development a chance to pursue the 2027/28 MBA programme at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. The scholarships cover course fees and a grant for living costs, as well as tailor-made training programmes, networking opportunities and support for students before, during and following their time at Oxford.
The University of Oxford and the Mastercard Foundation have established an innovative and ambitious partnership under the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme and the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx) to support Africans who have had to overcome hardship. In partnership with Saïd Business School, up to three(3) AfOx Graduate Scholarships are available for the 2027-28 MBA programme.

Eligibility
- Open to African citizens who are ordinarily resident in Africa, have not already taken a Masters degree, and can demonstrate a commitment to Africa’s development.
Scholarship Benefits
- Full course fees and a grant for living costs of at least £21,805.
Method of Application
- No separate application is needed, but you must submit your MBA application form by the deadline.
- If you are shortlisted for interview, you will be contacted by the University.
