High-achieving undergraduate and postgraduate students from specific countries who apply for specific courses at the University will have the opportunity to receive this notable Undergraduate scholarship and Postgraduate scholarship.
The Scholarship provides an annual tuition fee reduction for the standard full-time duration of the recipient’s course, as stated in their offer letter. The scholarship’s value is determined based on the applicant’s equivalent Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or UWA weighted average mark (WAM). High-achieving students, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, from specific countries, who apply for specific courses at the University, will have the opportunity to receive this prestigious scholarship.

Eligibility for the Global Excellence Scholarship 2023 at University of Western Australia:
- Applicants must be international students.
- Applicants must have received an offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at The University of Western Australia.
- Applicants must have achieved an equivalent minimum ATAR 85.00 or minimum WAM 65.00. If studying an approved International Academic Pathway (Articulation Program), students must have achieved a WAM equivalent of more than 75.00.
