Fully Funded Vital Voices’ VVEngage Fellowship 2023

Suitably qualified Women in Public Leadership are invited to apply for the Fully Funded Vital Voices’ VVEngage Fellowship 2023. This fellowship is held on an annual basis and will take place from April to December 2023. Participants are expected to participate in the entirety of the fellowship, including virtual training and gatherings, with the possibility of one in-person meeting if health and travel restrictions permit. This fellowship requires an approximate time commitment of eight hours per month.

The VVEngage fellowship is a Vital Voices program that provides support to outstanding female political leaders in the form of funding, with the goal of broadening their capacity, decision-making power, and effectiveness in politics and government. This fellowship is intended to foster a culture of gender equality in public representation and to promote the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through policy.

Vital Voices is using this fellowship to increase women’s political leadership and further the SDGs by teaching online and in-person sessions with knowledgeable women leaders from the Vital Voices Global Network and professors from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. The fellowship also connects participants to a global network of peers and mentors, including former and current female heads of state from the Council of Women World Leaders, who can provide support and advice. Based on 25 years of experience in leadership development, Vital Voices has created a tailored fellowship curriculum encompassing courses such as Leadership, Strategic Communications, Political Strategy, and Governance to empower fellows with the necessary skills to reach their objectives and help promote the Sustainable Development Goals in their respective communities.
