The Excellence and Merit Scholarships 2023 at Khazar University in Azerbaijan is offered to eligible students who are not from Azerbaijan with outstanding academic records looking to undertake an undergraduate, master, and Ph.D. degree program at the university to receive financial support worth the full tuition fee.
The Excellence and Merit Scholarships were established by the university to encourage and support applicants with an excellent academic performance from all over the world with Undergraduate scholarships, Master’s scholarships, and Ph.D. scholarships to study at the university. This Excellence scholarship is awarded for one year, subject to prolongation depending on the academic performance of the student, and also covers the full tuition fee of international students, enabling them to study tuition-free at the university while the Merit scholarships cover 75%, 50%, or 25% of the tuition fee on a competitive basis. Initially awarded for one year, the scholarship is subject to prolongation for the next academic year depending on the academic performance of the student.
Khazar University is a private university located in Baku, Azerbaijan, which was founded in March 1991. The university became one of the first private universities in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia and the first in Azerbaijan to introduce Western-style, research-oriented higher education.
