Every year, the European Forum Alpbach is held from August to September. Aside from the standard conference program, Undergraduate scholarships, Master’s scholarships, and Ph.D. scholarship recipients are invited to the Alpbach Seminars, which are the academic core of the European Forum Alpbach.
The European Forum Alpbach also known as the Alpbach European Forum, is an interdisciplinary conference held annually in Alpbach, Austria, since 1945. It is organized by the Europäische Akademie Alpbach, a non-profit educational and scientific institute. Eligibility for the European Forum Alpbach Scholarships 2023:
- Applicants need to be able to communicate in English fluently (minimum on a European B2 level).
- All first-time scholarship applicants must be aged between 18 and 30. For African applicants, the threshold of 35 applies.
- All young people meeting the scholarship requirements may apply regardless of their country of residence.
- Applicants are welcomed from all academic disciplines. Artists and non-graduates are also strongly encouraged to apply.
- All applicants must be available and ready to attend the European Forum Alpbach 2023 for a minimum of 12 days.
