
Students from all over the world are welcome to apply for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Scholarship Programme 2026 for a chance to study at several universities in Europe and beyond. This is a fully funded master’s scholarship for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The fully funded Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Scholarship Programme are delivered by a group of higher education institutions involving at least 3 institutions from at least 3 different countries, and multiple associated partners from the academic and non-academic world to offer academically excellent students from all over the world the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree program for free!
The Master’s Scholarships funds your study for 1 to 2 academic years and include periods of study, research, traineeship, thesis preparation and defence. You can apply directly to the institution running their chosen programme and can search the course catalogue for details of the latest programmes on offer.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Have a bachelor’s degree (first degree), or be in your last year of bachelor studies
- Graduate before the master’s programme starts

- A joint degree (i.e. one single degree certificate issued on behalf of at least two higher education institutions) or
- Multiple degrees (i.e. at least two degree certificates issued by two higher education institutions of the consortium)

To apply for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Scholarship Programme 2026, applicants should follow the steps below:
- Consult the online catalogue of Erasmus Mundus masters programmes to get detailed information about the EU funded programmes
- Each of the programme has a link to the websites where you will get description of the course of study, list of the participating universities and entry requirements.
Note: You should submit your application between October and January for courses starting the following academic year.
