BRICS Young Innovators Prize Competition 2023 for Entrepreneurs and Researchers

The BRICS Young Innovators Prize Competition 2023 for Entrepreneurs and Researchers aims to celebrate the accomplishments of young innovators and entrepreneurs who have created inventions, products, applications, and services that will have a substantial positive impact on the social, economic, and environmental conditions of BRICS nations. It provides a platform for BRICS youth to share their pioneering work in innovation and entrepreneurship.

In 2018, South Africa’s BRICS Chairship saw the launch of the BRICS Young Innovator Prize. This prize has been held five times, acting as a platform for BRICS youths to showcase their innovation and foster international collaboration. The winner of the prize is selected through a competition among the youth representatives of the BRICS countries. The 6th edition of the BRICS Young Innovator Prize will be held in person at the 7th BRICS Young Scientist Forum from July 31st to August 3rd, 2023 in South Africa.

In keeping with the custom of prior BRICS Chairships, South Africa will hold a variety of BRICS events in person prior to and after the Summit, including the 6th BRICS Young Innovator Prize.
