The Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Programme 2024 (AKF ISP) is presently accepting applications from eligible and interested candidates to take advantage of this opportunity and pursue their academic endeavors through the program starting in the 2024/2025 academic session.
The AKF ISP serves as a chance for exceptional scholars from designated countries, lacking alternative funding sources for their studies, to pursue postgraduate education. Recipients of the Master’s scholarship and Ph.D. scholarship award are chosen through a global, competitive application process conducted annually.

Eligibility for the Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Programme 2024:
- Applicants must have excellent academic records.
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/professional experience.
- Applicants must demonstrate genuine financial need.
- Applicants must construct a thoughtful, reliable, multi-source funding plan.
- Applicants must be admitted to a reputable postgraduate institution.

Eligible Countries:
- The AKF ISP is available in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Kenya, Kyrgyz Republic, Madagascar, Mozambique, Pakistan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
- In Canada, France, Portugal, and the USA, applications are accepted from those who are originally from one of the countries listed in point 1.
Method of Application for the Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Programme 2024:
The processing of applications is overseen by regional entities of the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF), Aga Khan Education Services (AKES), or Aga Khan Education Board (AKEB). It is advised to communicate with the relevant country-level organization (refer to contact details below) to acquire an application form.
For instance, applicants residing in India should apply through the local office in India, while those in Kenya should apply via the local office in Kenya. Completed applications must be submitted to the agency from which the ISP application form was obtained. Applications submitted after the deadline or those lacking required documentation will not be considered.
