
African Development Bank Group Internship Program 2024
Eligible graduate students or recent graduates from Africa are invited to apply for the African Development Bank Group Internship Program 2024 which aims to deliver on the strategic focus of the Bank’s Ten-Year Strategy.
The African Development Bank Group Internship Program will allow students and recent graduates from Africa to acquire professional and practical experience for 3 to 6 months at the African Development Bank. Also, it provides the Bank with a pool of potential candidates for future recruitment purposes.
The Bank’s development agenda delivers financial and technical support for transformative projects that significantly reduce poverty through inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
The broad objectives of the Internship Program are to provide the opportunity to acquire and develop the ability to work in an international environment, provide the Bank with a pool of potential candidates in the future, and enhance the visibility of the Bank and its development activities.

Eligibility for the African Development Bank Group Internship Program 2024:
- Applicants must be aged 30 and below by 31 December 2024.
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and is enrolled in a master’s degree program or its equivalent in a recognized public or private institution of higher learning; or are applying for the internship within one year of having obtained a master’s degree.
- Applicants should provide proof of enrolment in a university / professional institution/ school
- Is a citizen of a member country of the African Development Bank.
- Applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) in English or French, with a working knowledge of the other language.
- Female applicants are encouraged to apply.
