These assignments are specifically focused on areas aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing two distinct streams:

Program and Policy Stream: Within this stream, you will actively contribute to the implementation of UNDP’s programs and project activities. Your role will involve supporting the design, planning, and execution of initiatives that align with UNDP’s overarching objectives. By working directly on the ground, you will play a vital part in driving positive change and sustainable development within the communities we serve.

Corporate Operations Stream: Within this stream, your contribution will focus on supporting the management services that are crucial for the effective implementation of UNDP programs. This may involve working in areas such as finance, human resources, procurement, or other operational functions that facilitate the smooth running of UNDP’s initiatives. Alternatively, you may have the opportunity to work in the area of organizational policies, processes, and oversight, ensuring that UNDP adheres to the highest standards of governance and efficiency. Eligibility for the Fully-Funded UNDP Graduate Programme Pool 2023 for Recent Graduates:

  • Applicants must have completed a Master’s degree in a relevant field (with not more than 2 years of work experience) or
  • Applicants must have completed Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (with a minimum of 2 years and not more than 3 years of relevant, paid work experience).
  • To be eligible for the Programme and Policy stream, applicants must have graduated in one of the following areas: political science, public administration, international relations, development studies, economics, statistics, data management, environmental science, or a related field.   • To be eligible for the Corporate Operations stream, applicants must have graduated in one of the following areas: business or public administration, finance, law, procurement or supply chain management, human resources management, economics, data management, or a related field.
  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are fluent in English and able to work effectively in a professional context.
