French Embassy Scholarship 2025/2026 for Nigerian Students to Study in France
Interested applicants eager to pursue a master’s degree in France can now apply for the French Embassy Scholarship for Nigerian Students for the 2025/2026 academic year.
This scholarship program is a fully funded opportunity funded by Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, and Ministry of Higher Education and Research, for Nigerian students to study in the best university institutions in France. The program is managed by the French Embassy and Campus France Nigeria.
Applicants must submit their applications via the Etudes en France platform before the deadline of December 1, 2024. The scholarship focuses on master’s degrees in some specialties for students in public universities with low tuition fees. It covers two years of study for students starting at the M1 level or one year for those entering directly into M2.

Eligibility;
- Be a Nigerian citizen residing in Nigeria.
- Be under 30 years of age.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in management.
- Have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- Priority will be given to applicants with a First Class or Second Class Upper degree.
- Be fully committed to starting a course of study in France for the academic year beginning in September/October 2025.
- No French language proficiency is required to apply.

The reviewed applications will be transmitted automatically to the connected institutions by April.
- 30th April 2025: Deadline for pedagogical committees and school decisions
- 1st May 2025: Deadline for students to choose their institution of choice
- From May to June 2025: Interview for scholarship recipients
- July 2025: As soon as selected, start of the visa application process.
- September/October 2025: Beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year, departure for France.
