NDDC Youth Internship Scheme 2024
Suitably qualified youths from the Niger Delta region in Nigeria who are looking to improve their skills and be better positioned for great opportunities are invited to apply for the NDDC Youth Internship Scheme 2024 which will allow successful candidates to be trained to acquire meaningful self-sustaining skills that would improve their lives.
The NDDC Youth Internship Scheme would prepare 10,000 people across the Niger Delta region with the training and experience needed for gainful employment as well as self-employment through entrepreneurship. The Internship scheme will provide a monthly stipend of N50,000 to successful candidates for 12 months duration of the internship.
The scheme as set up by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) aims to get the youths to acquire meaningful and self-sustaining skills that would improve their lives, support their families and communities and ensure peace in the Niger Delta region.

Eligibility for the NDDC Youth Internship Scheme 2024:
- Applicants must be within the age of 18 and 45 years of age.
- Applicants must be an indigene of one of the 9 states of the Niger Delta.
- Applicants will be required to include a personal statement in their application reflecting their commitment to meet the objectives of the program and contribute to the socio-economic development of the region.
- Applicants must be interested in developing skills in the areas of technology, music and arts, agriculture, and marine.
- Applicants must be willing to commit fully to the program throughout the entire duration.
