University of Sydney Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships Scheme 2022 for International Students

The University of Sydney are currently inviting intelligent international students from all Nationality who wish to take up a study program in Australia or further their academics in the country to take a chance on their ongoing Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships Scheme for the 2022-2023 academic session.

The scholarship programme often termed as VCIS program and considered as one of the most competitive undergraduate and Masters scholarship exercise. The award will be valued at about $40,000 for every successful applicants to help in reducing the tuition fee, and this will only be awarded just one which is the first year, and not renewable for following years.

The University of Sydney have been known for helping international students with series of scholarship schemes for more than 100 years now, thus, using the exercise as a major tool in luring bright minds into the institution. The Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarships are awarded to exceptional international students. The Scholarship is open to all commencing international students enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework full degree.

Requirements and eligibility criteria for the 2022-2023 University of Sydney Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships Schemes;

  • Interested applicant must be an international student
  • Applicants must have applied for but not yet commenced a bachelor’s degree or a coursework master’s degree that is a CRICOS registered award program usually delivered onshore at the University of Sydney
  • Applicants must receive an unconditional offer of admission by the relevant close date.
  • Applicants commencing a second degree at the University of Sydney are eligible provided they have not previously held the Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarships.
  • Recipients of scholarships provided by the Australian Government are not eligible.

Scholarship Benefits

All successful applicants for University of Sydney Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships Scheme will be awarded with the following benefits: Four scholarship amounts are offered based on your ranking against the selection criteria:

$40,000 payable for one year in two equal installments per semester

$20,000 payable for one semester

$10,000 payable for one semester

$5,000 payable for one semester
