Track to Tasmania Scholarship 2022 for African Students at University of Tasmania

The University of Tasmania is dishing out invitation to high intellectual African international students who wish to further their academic pursuit in Australia to enroll into their ongoing Track to Tasmania Scholarship program for the 2022-2023 academic session.

The scholarship programme is a partially funded one with about 15% reduction in the tuition fee, and also minor stipends and allowances to enable the candidate have a perfect study duration in the country. The program is a very competitive one and requires participants to have a good academic background. It is aimed at building and developing African leaders and helping lives in the continent and understanding the African culture and values.

The University of Tasmania often shortened as UTAS have practically become the benchmark when it comes to dishing out opportunities to African students as well as international students, and have retained this practice for more than 10 decades now, and often accorded as the best public research university in Tasmania, Australia.

Requirements and eligibility criteria for the 2022 Track to Tasmania Scholarship;

  • Interested applicant must be an African Student and a citizen of one of the following countries; Botswana, Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia or Zimbabwe
  • Interested applicant must be  commencing a full fee-paying study of an eligible course at the University for the first time
  • All undergraduate or Honours coursework programs (excluding Bachelor of Nursing Hobart and Launceston; and fully online-only programs); and
  • All postgraduate coursework programs (excluding Master of Laboratory Medicine and fully online programs).

Application Process for the Track to Tasmania Scholarship 2022 for African Students;

Interested applicants who meets the above eligibility criteria are assessed automatically upon submission of their International Student Application so there is no need to apply separately. Offer letters will notify applicants if they have been awarded the scholarship.
