Taiwan Ministry of Education is pleased to make known the offering of twenty scholarships to outstanding Africans who are interested in chasing master’s or doctoral studies in Taiwan starting in September 2022.
The Taiwan Government scholarship programme was established to help assist Africa build high level professionals and to increase the extent of academic trade. The programme consist of various fields of study.

Eligibility for Africa Elite Scholarship Programme for Africans to Study in Taiwan 2022
In order to be considered for Africa Elite Scholarship Programme, candidates are required to meet the criteria below:
- Eligible applicants must be employed as lecturers in either public or private universities or colleges in African countries at the time of application.
- Eligible applicants must exhibit great academic and research skills.
- Eligible applicants Must manifest competence in the use of English Language because English will be the primary means of communication during the course study.
- Eligible applicants must be ready to abide by the laid down rule and regulations controlling how students should behave at the associated university.

2 Yuan Ze University with 1(one) scholarship available
3 National Taiwan Ocean University with 1(one) scholarship available
4 National Dong Hwa University with 1(one) scholarship available
5 National Tsing Hua University with 1(one) scholarship available
6 National Yang-Ming Chiao-Tung University with 2(two) scholarship available
7 National Taipei University of Technology with 1(one) scholarship available
8 Taipei Medical University with 1(one) scholarship available
9 National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences with 3(three) scholarship available
10 Tunghai University with 1(one) scholarship available
11 National ChengChih University with 1(one) scholarship available
12 Kaohsiung Medical University with 1(one) scholarship available
13 National Cheng Kung University with 5(five) scholarship available

- Covers 100% tuition fees.
- Monthly allowance of NT$25,000 (R13,247.09)
- Other expenses to include insurance, internet fee, dorm accommodation.
